BENDING TUBES AND SECTIONS

A solution package may be provided based on the Transfluid Maschinenbau GmbH (Germany) equipment to set up automated clusters for producing pipeline system components and bending tubes.

This concept implements a complex approach to design, preproduction engineering, unification and standardization of bending equipment and appliances and production of pipeline components and tubular products

Generally, according to the concept of setting up an automated cluster to produce pipeline components, the following working stages and process operations are to be accomplished:

1. Development of electronic pipeline models based on the design documentation available.
2. Checking of manufacturability and validation of pipeline producibility with the aid of the Transfluid equipment using special TransproKolli software. Bending process simulation using virtual models of the machines and fixtures to be supplied.
3. Warehousing of tubing stock using an automated system capable of integration with the PLM system and the enterprise resources management system.
4. Preliminary cleaning of the tube inner surfaces from oil deposits and contamination with the aid of air guns and special polyurethane wads.
5. Cutting of tubular billets to size on the basis of billet length data received from the TransproKolli bending process simulation system.
6. Preparation of tube end faces accompanied by external and internal chamfering.
7. Mandrel and mandrelless bending using fully electrical CNC bending machines.
8. Digitization of tube references, spring action measurement to automatically correct control programs, post-bending tube size control by way of comparison with the mathematical model geometry.
9. Axial forming, plugging, upsetting of tube tips.
10. Final cleaning and drying of the internal surfaces of tube of arbitrary geometry.

A suitable equipment package (manufactured by Transfluid or another manufacturer) is suggested for supply in accordance with the Customer’s requirements.
